These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Home Plumbing Services cc ("we", "our", or "us"). By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We provide professional plumbing services including but not limited to:
- Emergency plumbing repairs
- Bathroom and kitchen installations
- Drainage and sewerage services
- Water heater installations
- Pipe repairs and maintenance
- General plumbing services
3. Service Areas
Our services are available in the following areas:
- Somerset West
- Strand
- Gordon's Bay
- Helderberg Area
Additional charges may apply for services outside these areas.
4. Business Hours
Our standard business hours are:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: Closed
Emergency services may be available outside business hours at additional rates.
5. Booking and Appointments
To book our services:
- Contact us by phone, email, or through our website
- Provide accurate information about your requirements
- Confirm appointment details in advance
- Notify us of any changes at least 24 hours before the appointment
6. Pricing and Payment
Our pricing structure:
- All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR)
- Prices include VAT where applicable
- Additional charges may apply for emergency services, after-hours work, or travel outside service areas
- Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed
- We accept cash, EFT, and credit card payments
7. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation terms:
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before scheduled appointment
- Cancellation within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee
- No-show appointments will be charged at our standard call-out rate
- We reserve the right to cancel appointments due to unforeseen circumstances
8. Warranty and Guarantees
Our warranty terms:
- Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion date
- Manufacturer warranties apply to parts and materials
- Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modifications
- Warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period
9. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited as follows:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service
- We are not responsible for damage to property not directly related to our work
- Customers are responsible for securing valuable items before our arrival
10. Health and Safety
Safety requirements:
- We follow all applicable health and safety regulations
- Customers must provide safe access to work areas
- We reserve the right to refuse work in unsafe conditions
- Customers must disclose any hazardous conditions or materials
11. Insurance and Licensing
We maintain:
- Public liability insurance
- Workers' compensation insurance
- Valid business licences and permits
- IOPSA/PIRB registration
12. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
- Provide accurate information about plumbing issues
- Ensure safe access to work areas
- Remove obstacles that may impede work
- Pay for services as agreed
- Follow any instructions provided for maintenance
13. Complaints and Disputes
If you have a complaint:
- Contact us immediately to discuss the issue
- We will investigate and respond within 7 business days
- If unresolved, you may contact the Consumer Protection Commission
- We are committed to resolving disputes amicably
14. Privacy and Data Protection
We protect your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and POPIA requirements.
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control, including:
- Natural disasters
- Government actions
- Supply chain disruptions
- Labour disputes
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
